Switzerland‘s most important cycling race - more than 4000 bikers between Verbier, Hérémence and Grimentz. The Grand Raid remains an exceptional event in the world of mountain biking. The fidelity of the participants attests to the quality of the organization and the now mythical race course across the Valais Alps. The race goes over high alpine passes and low mountain valleys and is considered as one of the most fastidious mountain bike races.

The Mont Fort tour is a mountain-bike route linking the Verbier, La Tzoumaz and Nendaz resorts via Col des Gentianes pass (elevation 2,894 m). It gives the rider a chance to soak in the magnificent contrasts of the scenery--alpine meadows, larch forests and scree, with a view of the glaciers and the Combins and Mont-Blanc massifs.
